Adventures with {highcharter} and the Highcharts accessibility module

Video

Above, the video opens at the start of my talk. However, I definitely recommend watching Maya Gans’ talk, A11Y in R: Adapting Sarah L. Fossheim’s 10 dos and don’ts to keep in mind when designing accessible data visualizations, as well.

If you view the video on YouTube, Rachael Dempsy (our wonderful host and moderator) has added links to resources and R packages mentioned in the discussion.

Slides

You can see the slides (embedded, below) on their own here (which should be the most accessible version).

The source code for the slides is available in this GitHub repo, which also contains the slides in PDF format.

More working examples can also be found in my accessible-highcharter GitHub repo.
